Soulspin – Returns & Withdrawal Policy
Last updated: [2026-06-26]
This policy covers two distinct situations:
- Right of withdrawal — you change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order. No reason is needed.
- Complaints (Reklamation) — there is a fault, defect, or error with your order.
Different rules apply to each. Please read the relevant section for your situation
PART 1 — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
1. Your Right to Withdraw
1.1 14 day return period
If you change your mind, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. No reason is required. This applies to all customers worldwide, for both pre-owned and new vinyl records, as well as any other products sold on soulspin.store.
EU customers have this right under Swedish law (Distansavtalslagen). Customers outside the EU are offered the same right as a courtesy, on identical terms.
2. How to Request a Withdrawal
2.1 Contact us
To request a withdrawal, contact us through our Contact Form or directly at info.soulspin@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We typically respond within 2 working days.
2.2 After approval
Once your withdrawal is approved, you will receive instructions on where to send the item. We recommend reusing the original packaging to ensure safe transport. You are responsible for ensuring the item arrives in the same condition as when it was delivered to you.
2.3 Refunds
Refunds are issued within 14 days after the returned item has been received and inspected by Soulspin.
Refunds can only be made to the same payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note that depending on your bank, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the amount to appear on your statement.
3. Return conditions
3.1 Pre-owned vinyl
To qualify for a withdrawal, a pre-owned record must be returned in substantially the same condition as when it was delivered to you. You may handle the item to the extent necessary to assess its condition, but not beyond that. Original sleeves, inner sleeves, and any protective materials must be included.
3.2 New vinyl
New records must be returned in their original sealed or factory-condition packaging. If a returned item has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its nature or functionality, Soulspin reserves the right to apply a deduction for depreciation.
Please note that manufacturing variances such as pops, clicks, surface noise, slight warps, or off-center pressings are not considered defects unless they significantly affect playback. These do not qualify as grounds for a fault-based return — see Part 2 for fault returns. Replacement copies are subject to availability, as most items are unique or limited in stock.
3.3 Rejection
Soulspin reserves the right to reject a return if the item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to verify its condition, or if new damage has occurred during the customer’s possession.
4. Return shipping
4.1 Customer responsibility
For withdrawals, the cost of return shipping is your responsibility. This applies to all customers worldwide. You may use any carrier of your choice, but it must include tracking. Soulspin cannot be held responsible for items lost in return transit without proof of tracking.
PART 2 — COMPLAINTS & FAULTY ITEMS
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item — or if we have made a grading error or missed a significant defect, please contact us at info.soulspin@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will assess the issue and offer a suitable solution, which may include a full refund, partial refund, or replacement (when available).
6. Complaint Period (Reklamation)
Customers have a three-year complaint period under the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (Konsumentköplagen). Faults must be reported within a reasonable time of discovery, normally within 2 months.
7. Contact & support
If you have any questions regarding returns, shipping, or your order, don’t hesitate to contact us.
8. Changes to returns & withdrawal policy
We reserve the right to amend this policy. Any changes will be published on our website and will take effect from the date of publication
